LOS ANGELES, Calif. (July 2016) – Best known for its creative dedication to the outdoor and active lifestyle markets, RANGE will release Issue Five of RANGE Magazine on August 3, 2016 in connection with Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2016. With a nod to the utopian movements and countercultures of the 1960s, this special edition magazine was inspired by creative communes, art collectives and grassroots organizations, and how they redefined progressive cultures.

With over 30 creative contributors, photographers and artists, we’re channeling the vibes of our long-haired brothers and sisters of the ‘60s with lucid photography, stories of unconventional lifestyles, and wild wellness practices. In collaboration with our title sponsors Chaco and CORDURA® and others, including, Woolrich, Leatherman, Wildfang and the Montana Office of Tourism, we’ll be connecting the dots and diving into how these 1960s movements shaped the outdoor and lifestyle industries of today. Join us as we go road “tripping” up the PCH, meet the new generation of surfers in Montana, explore experimental soundtracks, and declare the birth of the Wild Feminist.
