NIXA, MO (February, 25th, 2015) – Red Fox Wireless, an emerging company in the sports and outdoor market that makes Bluetooth wireless headphones and accessories, has renewed their partnership with Destination Races as the exclusive Wireless Headphone Sponsor for the Wine Country Half Marathon Series in 2015 and 2016.
Red Fox’s flagship product, the EDGE Bluetooth Headphones, launched in December 2013 and soon after, was named BestCordlessHeadphones in the June edition of Runner’s World, all while gaining a significant retail presence in the U.S. The headphone design is comfortable and lightweight, and remains secure during athletic activities such as running, cycling, hiking and weight training. Built-in controls allow the user to wirelessly change song tracks, control volume, make and take phone calls, and activate Siri or Google Voice, making this product easy to use. Currently, the second generation of The Edge features IPX 4 water and sweat resistance nano technology, allowing users to be active with their headphones without worrying about moisture damage.
“We’re all about promoting a healthy lifestyle and making it easier for people to get outside with their music, audio books or podcasts,” said Red Fox CEO and Co-Founder Josh Cates. “Renewing our partnership with Destination Races provides an ideal opportunity to connect with an active and health-focused audience.”
Destination Races produces seven boutique races across prestigious wine regions in North America. Each race weekend features small town charm, breathtaking views, and scenic courses starting typically at a winery and always finishing with a Destination Races trademark post-race Wine and Music Festival. The race series attracts elite runners as well as food and wine enthusiasts who share their common bond of running and celebration.
“Our participants rave about Red Fox products and we are pleased to welcome them back for our 2015 and 2016 race series,” said Destination Races Founder and President Matt Dockstader. “Our two companies are a natural fit as we both capture the imagination and fuel the passion of people everywhere who live life to its fullest potential.”
