WASHINGTON, D.C. – April 19, 2007 — Reebok plans to have a presence both on the SGMA Spring Market exhibit floor and in the TAG Buying Center, which is open to Team Athletic Group (TAG) members.

Reebok joins an already impressive list of exhibitors including the likes of New Balance Athletic Shoe, ASICS, Under Armour, Wilson Sporting Goods, Easton-Bell Sports and Mizuno, to name just a few. SGMA Spring Market has been launched by the SGMA to bring together industry brands, specialty, independent, trendsetting retailers and team dealers — all under one roof.

“We were impressed by the types of buyers the SGMA is attracting to Spring Market and believe a show like this can also provide some valuable networking opportunities that will help us grow our business,” said Kevin Adams, National Sales Manager for Team and Running Specialty at Reebok International, Ltd., on the brand’s decision to support SGMA Spring Market.

SGMA President Tom Cove said having leading industry brands like Reebok on the show floor makes a buyer’s job that much easier as they will have an opportunity to visit with most all of their vendors at one convenient location.

“We’re delighted Reebok has chosen to support SGMA Spring Market and use this venue to reach out to the specialty athletic retailers that will be attending this trade show,” said SGMA President Tom Cove.

Along with many of the industry’s most influential brands, a number of sporting goods industry groups, associations, and media organizations are conducting their meetings and events either prior to or during the SGMA Spring Market:
•The Athlete’s Foot Global Franchise Convention: Hundreds of The Athlete’s Foot franchise owners from around the world will attend the company’s event at the Venetian Hotel. The conference schedule will include presentations on innovative new marketing efforts for The Athlete’s Foot brand.
•Team Athletic Goods, Inc. (TAG): TAG will incorporate its annual summer buying event into SGMA Spring Market, as well as its National Sales Training Seminar, attracting more than 400 team dealer owners, buyers, and sales representatives.
•Play Ball USA: This non-profit organization, developed to increase participation in community baseball and softball programs, will meet in Las Vegas at the SGMA Spring Market and conduct a silent auction of baseball memorabilia on the show floor.
•National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment (NOCSAE): NOCSAE will meet at SGMA Spring Market in Las Vegas to discuss changes to safety standards in athletic equipment.
•Sporting Goods Agents Association (SGAA): SGAA will host its annual meeting at SGMA Spring Market.
•World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI): WFSGI will convene its annual membership, board of directors and committee meetings in Las Vegas during Spring Market, marking the only time WFSGI will meet in the United States in 2007.
