SIA continues to recognize the value of working with the regional rep associations and took that partnership one step further this year. In cooperation with Eastern Winter Sports Rep Association (EWSRA), Midwest Winter Sports Rep Association (MWSRA), Midwestern Rep Association (MRA), New England Winter Sports Rep, Inc (NEWSR), Southeastern Winter Reps Association (SWRA) and the Western Winter Sports Reps Association (WWSRA), SIA developed a branded image for the 2006 Show Cycle to demonstrate industry unity and support. All six rep associations and SIA continue to work together to streamline the Show cycle which kicks off with a few regional preview show and the national SIA.06 Show and ends with the last rep Show in Denver CO, March 28-30. â€œThe branding project was an excellent opportunity to further strengthen the SIA and rep association tie, ultimately enhancing the overall awareness and success of the show cycle,â€ said Mary Kalis of SWRA.
The overall goal for this group effort is to create a unified industry which promotes the growth of the snow sports industry â€“ through product movement. â€œWith so many factors and variables affecting the show cycle, effective communication between our groups is critical. We are working cohesively to streamline the business being done and facilitate a smart buy,â€ said Jenn Anderson or WWSRA.
