Performance eyewear brand, REVO, announced today that it will begin offering a selection of popular sunglass styles through The North Faceâ„¢ Flagship store locations. The eyewear is currently available now in the New York City, Chicago and San Francisco locations.

Established in 1985, REVO was founded on the idea that the same technology used by NASA for satellites and telescopes could easily be transferred into optics. Today, REVO continues its rich tradition of innovation by creating the clearest and most advanced high contrast polarized sunglasses available. With product designed to enhance any outdoor experience, REVO is the brand for adventure and travel enthusiasts who value premium craftsmanship, the best in polarized lens technology, and preserving and enjoying the environment.

“The North Face and REVO both offer industry-leading products for adventure and outdoor exploration,” stated Julie Schaffner, Global Brand Director, REVO. “The synergies are obvious, and we are enthusiastic about partnering with such an iconic brand.”

“We are thrilled to partner with REVO in our flagship retail store locations. REVO is an incredible performance eyewear brand that keeps our customers outside and exploring, and that is something we’re excited to get behind,” said Lindsay Rice, Vice President, Direct to Consumer, The North Face.

The North Face stores will be featuring 14 select REVO styles, lead by the highly popular Guide, a favorite of REVO Ambassador and The North Face athlete, Jimmy Chin. The Guide is designed to wrap around the face and block ambient light while providing maximum visibility. Along with REVO’s bronze and graphite lens options, select styles offered at The North Face locations will also feature REVO’s new Water lens, a polarized lens optimized for the color profiles of open water.

All available styles feature REVO’s premium technologies, including:

• High-contrast polarized lenses that block glare while maintaining industry leading optical clarity
• Motion-Fit™ system balances pressure points and keeps the eyewear in place during activity
• Element Shed™ Hydrophobic/Oleophobic and Backside Anti-Reflective lens coatings
• REVO Seriliumâ„¢ polycarbonate lens material featured – lightweight, durable and filters out 100% of UVA/UVB/UVC & harmful blue light up to 400nm
• Revo’s taper corrected lens technology eliminates any optical distortion from lens curvature

About REVO

In 1985, Revo began as a small sunglass brand with a big idea: technology used by NASA was just as suited for sunglasses as it was for satellites. Today, Revo continues to build on a rich tradition of technology and innovation by creating the clearest and most advanced high contrast polarized sunglasses available. Conscious of the world’s social and ecological challenges, Revo strives to act responsibly. Revo’s Eco Collection features eyewear made from Revo Re-Useâ„¢, a frame material made from 100 percent recycled pre-consumer polymer resins, and Revo Eco-Useâ„¢, a sustainable take on traditional plastic made from the seed of the castor bean plant in place of widely used petroleum-based nylons. Designed for the active sport and lifestyle consumer, the 100 percent polarized eyewear collection is available at authorized Revo retail locations nationwide. Revo is held by the Luxottica Group (NYSE: LUX ; MTA: LUX), a Milan, Italy-based global leader in premium fashion, luxury and sports eyewear. Additional information is available at www.revo.com.
