RockyMounts Appoints First-Ever Outside Sales Representatives

Tiffanie McKenzie, Tom Roth hired to support key markets on East Coast as company continues to post strong sales

Boulder, Colo. – Dec. 20, 2016 – RockyMounts, the company that’s stoked to carry and secure your prized possessions, today announced the appointment of its first outside sales reps, Tiffanie McKenzie and Tom Roth, who will work with retailers in the south- and northeastern U.S., respectively. They report to Rod Judd, sales director.

“As we grow and our brand awareness increases, it’s necessary to increase our team,” explained Judd. “Tiffanie and Tom will support RockyMounts’ commitment to servicing win-win partnerships with specialty retailers, particularly the key independent bike dealers that are the cornerstone of their cycling communities.”

McKenzie, the owner of Katalyst Athletics, will represent RockyMounts in the southeastern states of Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee, where she also represents Blue Competition Cycles, Logica Sport Custom, Kali, and Carbo Rocket.

Roth, a well-known sales professional who formerly worked for ASI, covers the northeastern territory of metropolitan New York, New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware. He will expand to Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia in the coming months.

“I very much look forward to educating dealers about the highly lucrative line that Rocky Mounts has become,” he said. “Whether it’s the roof top mounts, or the very cool and unique series of hitch mount racks, or the new line of locks, Rocky Mounts will give shops the diversity that consumers now demand.”

2016 was a record-setting year for product launches from RockyMounts. Six new rack products were introduced, and the company expanded to a new product category with the Interbike debut of its line of 24 bike locks. The company also moved to an expanded headquarters and retail store in Boulder in the second quarter of the year and reported its sales were up by 40%.
