Rogers’ PORON® Cushioning Team Partners with Ragnar Relay New York Supports Participants in 24+ Hour Running Event for Third Consecutive Year

Woodstock, CT – Over 2,500 runners are pulling together their race strategies, team themes and festive costumes in anticipation of the nearly 200 mile Ragnar Relay New York, which takes place this May 13-14. As sponsor of this one-of-a-kind event, Rogers’ PORON® Cushioning Street Team will mingle with event participants and cheer runners along every step of the way.
The Ragnar Relay New York is a 24 hour race that begins in Bethel, NY, crosses through the Catskills and finishes in Dobbs Ferry, NY. Relay teams consist of 12 members, of which 200 are expected teams are expected. During the relay, each team member runs three legs ranging between three to eight miles depending on difficulty. This unique relay format makes the Ragnar Relay an accessible race for beginners, yet challenging enough for competitive runners.
The PORON Street Team will be supporting runners and handing out insoles, t-shirts and other promotional items at various check points along the route. Spectators will be able to enjoy live music and other vendor boots stationed along the course.

Once teams cross the finish line, they are awarded with medals and prizes for best costumes, team theme, and decorated van.
