Ruffwear Wants to Know – What Does Your Dog Mean to You?

Ruffwear Announces #mydogismy Campaign

{Bend, OR} – Ruffwear, the leading producer of high performance dog gear, is asking what your dog means to you. #mydogismy highlights the close relationship we have with our dogs. In the outdoor industry, many of us have a canine companion (or two). Who better to get us away from our desk to stretch our legs and get a little fresh air—that same fresh air we’re often selling products for.

Whether your alarm clock, wingman, hiking partner or sight, dogs often play a significant role in our lives. From April 15-26, Ruffwear will be hosting a photo contest, awarding random daily gear prizes for those who upload images showing what their dog means to them with the hashtag #mydogismy via Instagram, Twitter or Facebook.

“Dogs play an important role in our lives and this campaign aims to spark that discussion and get people thinking about what their dog really means to them. Just going around the Ruffwear office, #mydogismy has invoked heart-warming and funny stories of our own personal relationships with our dogs and we’re excited to hear what our customers have to say,” said Patrick Kruse, founder of Ruffwear.

The campaign will run throughout the year, with continued opportunities for customers and retail partners to share and get involved. For more information on the project, please visit or email Vince Mazzuca at
