Rumpl and Loki Launch Premium Adventure Dog Bed on Kickstarter

PORTLAND, Ore. (Nov. 13, 2019) – Rumpl, the leader in technical blankets, announces the launch of its latest product, the Rumpl x Loki Dog Bed, on Kickstarter. While typical dog beds are bulky and don’t stand up to the wear-and-tear of the elements, the Rumpl x Loki Dog Bed combines technical materials, premium comfort and unparalleled portability to keep dogs comfortable wherever travels may take them.

“Feedback from Rumpl customers is really what inspired this latest product. After five years of building the brand, we’ve learned that not only are Rumpl blankets great for people, but dogs love them, too,” says Wylie Robinson, CEO and founder of Rumpl. “While doing research, we realized that most dog beds aren’t portable in the way that Rumpl gear is. They’re typically too bulky to travel with you and the materials don’t hold up if you take them outside. So, we saw an opportunity to design a dog bed with portability and travel in mind in order to make sure pups are comfortable everywhere they adventure.”

Rumpl and Loki worked together for more than two years to develop a dog bed that combines technical comfort and durability with maximum portability. “As a dog family that is constantly traveling on the road, we really have to be selective about the kinds of gear we take with us. The Rumpl x Loki Dog Bed includes two components: a stuffable blanket and a highly packable self-inflating air mattress that zips inside. The bed is reversible for two levels of pup comfort. One experience has Sherpa fleece on one side for dogs that like a cozier and softer fabric with waterproof ripstop nylon on the other. For an outdoor and more durable experience, reverse the blanket for that same nylon on one side and 100% post-consumer recycled polyester with a DWR coating on the other. Regardless of which side you choose, the bed sheds hair, debris and anything else your dog leaves behind and is also machine washable. The bed is also available in two sizes for small and large dogs, and both sizes fits standard crates.
