Run Gum, the leader in caffeinated energy gum, is offering a grand prize, all expense paid trip for one contestant to run the 2018 Eugene Marathon on April 29, plus a prize package totaling more than $2,500. Included in the prize package is gear from AfterShokz, Generation UCAN, Polar, Goodr, Zensah, and Roll Recoery.
The grand prize winner will also receive roundtrip airfare provided by Eugene Cascades Coast Sports, accommodations at the Even Hotel, a free entry into the Eugene Marathon, and a chance to run with Run Gum CEO and two-time Olympian Nick Symmonds.
“I founded Run Gum here in Eugene and have called the Emerald Valley home for the past 12 years,” said Symmonds. “When I didn’t hit my goal of running under three hours at the Hawaii Marathon in December 2017, I immediately knew I would give it another shot. The Eugene Marathon is flat, fast, and scenic, and I get to bring my running career full circle by finishing on the track where it all began. I’m excited to give one lucky winner the opportunity to experience Eugene through my eyes.”
Symmonds, who made his career out of running the 800-meter event, co-founded Run Gum in 2014 with the goal of making a fast-working energy product without added calories, sugar or unnecessary ingredients. Now available in three flavors, Run Gum will launch several new products throughout 2018.
