CARBONDALE, CO)–Run Wild Retreats + Wellness, a provider of premier mindful running and wellness retreats in some of the world’s best trail-running destinations, has hired Meagan Bertoni as retreat operations manager.
As Run Wild Retreats + Wellness adds new destinations to its roster of retreats for 2017, Bertoni, of Boulder, Colorado, will play an integral role in customer support, sales and marketing and retreat planning and logistics.
“Meagan’s prior experience in e-commerce is an asset to Run Wild Retreats + Wellness at this stage of our growth, particularly in the areas of designing new operational systems, managing multiple online marketing campaigns and retreat planning,” says CEO Elinor Fish.
As a published writer who has articles in various food and lifestyle magazines (under her maiden name Meagan Vitek), Bertoni is a proven strong writer and communicator who will uphold Run Wild Retreats + Wellness’s commitment to superior customer service, strong social media content and polished marketing messages.
Bertoni, who has a penchant for cupcakes and calls herself a “life runner,” began running as a teenager with her mom. She’s proud to be a third-generation runner, inspired by her 84-year-old grandfather who still runs daily. “I run to keep my body healthy, to think, to spend time with my husband, to put things back into perspective, and above all else, because, well, it’s fun!” she says.
Bertoni’s passion for running aligns well with the company’s mission to teach the principles of mindful running, which blends the most health-supporting aspects of both running and mindfulness to create a sustainable and rewarding practice for managing daily stress.
