Russ Rowan Promoted to Sr. VP of Marketing and Sales at Spyder

BOULDER, Colo. – Spyder Active Sports, Inc., the Colorado-based manufacturer of premium technical ski and lifestyle apparel, has announced the promotion of Russ Rowan to Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales for North America.

Rowan joined Spyder in August of 2009 and reports directly to Tom McGann, Spyder’s CEO. His background includes positions at other worldwide performance apparel and action sport brands including Helly Hansen, Burton, and O’Neill. Before re-joining at Spyder, McGann and Rowan had previously worked together at Burton.

The appointment was effective January 1, 2013. Rowan is based at Spyder’s Boulder, Colorado headquarters.
