Boulder, CO // July 21, 2015 – SALEWA North America, the wholly-owned subsidiary of SALEWA International based in Bolzano, Italy, proudly announces the expansion of its sales team, naming Ross Herr as Sales Manger. In his new role, Herr will be responsible for managing the sales of all DYNAFIT and WILD COUNTRY hardgoods in North America.
Herr has an extensive background in outdoor sports sales and revenue enhancement programs, having spent the past decade in various roles such as Tech Sales Rep for the Hanson Group and Independent Sales Rep in the Great Lakes and Midwest territories for John Ross Outdoors LLC, where he developed and implemented effective sales programs for C4 Waterman, FCS Surf Accessories, Kaenon, Astral Designs, and Kobian. In his most recent role as Sponsorship Sales Manager for the Vail Valley Foundation (VVF), Herr was responsible for securing and managing an array of significant corporate partners and activating national event sponsorship campaigns throughout the VVF properties and events, most notably the 2015 World Alpine Ski Championships. Herr brings with him a skilled and modern approach to communication and the ability to build quality relationships within the SALEWA North America dealer base.
