BOULDER, Colo. – Adding staff to create more seamless integration between a new, official warranty/repair department, existing distribution center and adjacent front offices, SCARPA North America promoted Bill Mueller to the newly created position of Logistics Manager and hired Dave Maziarz as Warranty-Repairs Coordinator.
Along with continuing to improve inventory management, turn-around times and quality assurance, the staff changes mark the formal establishment of a SCARPA North America repair and service center.
“We want to provide the best consumer and retailer experience, and the highest level of service, for our products throughout their life cycle,” said Kim Miller, CEO of SCARPA North America. “SCARPA always been known for quality out of the box, but people use our gear for many years, decades even in the case of some products. Our goal here is efficient, on-the-mark service so consumers can keep on doing their sports in our footwear.”
Mueller was promoted from within SCARPA North America, where he worked as Operations Coordinator. In his new post, he will more directly oversee work flow between the distribution center, the warranty-repair department, and the sales team. Mueller previously worked for SCARPA out-of-house with the brand’s Rocky Mountain sale rep team, KNS Reps.
Maziarz handles all returns and exchanges from dealers and consumers, and also coordinates and executes repair work, working in concert with Mueller. In addition, he manages a new, beefed-up SCARPA parts department.
“Because we’re a product-focused company, having our product close to us, with all operations integrated in one place, lets us be able to react quickly and efficiently, whether that’s getting an order out to dealers or executing a repair,” Miller said. “These two key positions will help ensure that internal operations are as efficient as they possibly can be.”
