SealLine and Jackson Kayak Partner to Bring Custom Weatherproof Seat Bag to Jackson’s Premier Fishing Kayaks

Seattle, WA (July 31, 2015) – SealLine®, the leader in dry bags and packs, is pleased to announce its partnership with Jackson Kayak® on a custom SealLine weatherproof seat bag system for Jackson’s premier line of fishing kayaks. The bag brings 10L of close-at-hand weatherproof protection for anglers’ most important items and is a rugged addition to these world-class fishing boats.

“The new 2016 Jackson Kayak / SealLine seat back pouch was born of a partnership between two companies with a shared commitment to U.S. manufacturing,” said Damon Bungard, product manager, Jackson Kayak. “The collaborative efforts between our companies has proven very successful in delivering unsurpassed comfort and performance to modern kayak fishing. It’s been a fun project, and hopefully a sign of things to come.”

Designing and manufacturing high-quality, durable gear in the United States is a vital part of business for both SealLine and Jackson Kayak, which helped bring the two companies together. SealLine has been building high quality, portable gear protection for wet and challenging environments in its Seattle, WA facility for nearly 25 years. Its waterproof products include dry bags, dry sacks, backpacks, and duffels for paddle sports, urban commutes, or general outdoor adventure.

Jackson Kayak designs, builds, and manufactures leading whitewater, fishing, and exploration paddle sports products in the United States and has reached its manufacturing capacity in its current 100,000 square foot facility. The company is expanding its current operations, opening an additional facility in Sparta, Tennessee.

The custom seat bag system will be featured with many of Jackson’s premier fishing kayaks, including select versions of the Coosa, Cuda, Big Tuna, Big Rig, Kraken, Kilroy and Tupelo models.
