At Summer Market, the pair plan to walk the floor after exhibitors have pulled up the stakes to see which companies left the least impact. Exhibitors will be judged on packaging materials used, trash discarded, and the overall condition of their floor space.
Winners of the Chaco/Leave No Trace award will receive a plaque to display in their booths, Chaco flips for employees present for the cleanup, and the peace of mind that comes with extending environmental ethics into their business practices .
Kuhl, Grivel and Pacific Outdoor Equipment were the first recipients of the “Chaco/Leave No Trace Award†at the Winter Outdoor Retailer Show earlier this year.
