ATLANTA, July 24, 2013 – As Seed Factory staff arrived at their 2-story loft offices for another day of brand building and storytelling (advertising, PR and design), they suddenly realized that they we’re living an agency nightmare—their current client roster included no outdoor brands. Prior to Seed Factory, staff had worked on branding for outdoor, adventure and sports clients such as REI, Case Knives, Ironman Wetsuits and Fox Sports. They had also previously managed strategic PR initiatives for large retailers like Best Buy and The Home Depot, but now this 18 month old agency is faced with the tragic fact they that don’t currently have any outdoor or sport clients.
So what is a boutique agency to do? Well, first Seed has decided to close their offices early every summer Friday to get a jump on their weekends of kayaking, mountain biking and camping in the Nantahala lake and gorge area of North Carolina. Next, Seed Factory staff got serious and booked flights to go hiking and whitewater rafting in the Grand Tetons and Snake river area of Wyoming to fuel the agencies passion for anything outdoors. But before they hit the Grand Tetons, the agency partners thought it might be beneficial to spend time in Salt Lake City at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market.
Seed Factory Marketing is excited to attend the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market, where they will get immersed in all the great products, companies, brands, and educational seminars available.
