Senate Outdoor Recreation Caucus Established
Sen. Mark Udall (D-CO) and Sen. James Risch (R-ID) have joined forces to create the Senate Outdoor Recreation Caucus. The caucus is a bipartisan group of U.S. Senators formed to encourage healthy, active lifestyles and foster an appreciation of America’s lands and waters through the promotion of outdoor activities. With a focus on our nation’s families and youth, the caucus will promote practices and policies that connect Americans with outdoor activities, our outdoor heritage, public and private lands and waters.
“Throughout their careers Sens. Risch and Udall have been support of and active in outdoor recreation. The caucus is a key step and we appreciate their leadership,†said Bruce Ward, President, Choose Outdoors, Inc.
