SewSporty Acquires Stonewear from Great Trango Holdings, Inc.
Acquisition strengthens athletic apparel manufacturer’s performance lifestyle portfolio
Louisville, Colo. — (December 22, 2016) –SewSporty, a US-based athletic apparel manufacturer, acquires Stonewear from Great Trango Holdings, Inc. Stonewear’s premium USA-made performance lifestyle apparel delivers stylish, functional designs that meet the demands of today’s active female consumer. The brand offers a full range of fitness and lifestyle apparel for hiking, rock climbing, yoga, running, travel, and every day wear.
SewSporty manufactures high quality traditional and technical sportswear with roots in rowing, cycling, running and yoga since 1987. The completed transaction expands the privately held athletic apparel manufacturer’s presence in the women’s performance lifestyle category. Consumer spending on apparel continues to show a steady incline primarily driven by the athleisurewear trend and changing preferences of women. More women are blending fitness into their daily lives, and motivated by authentic brands and products that perceive a healthy lifestyle.
