The second season of Ocean Kayak presents The Kayak Fishing Show with Jim Sammons kicks off this week on the World Fishing Network (WFN) with renowned big game kayak angler Jim Sammons heading to New Zealand, where he has a 40-pound king fish ripped out of his hand by a 7-foot shark.
The Kayak Fishing Show with Jim Sammons represents a fresh new style of fishing show, which entertains, inspires, educates, and appeals to viewers whether or not they have ever considered fishing from a kayak. Every episode follows Sammons around North America and beyond on the fishing adventure of a lifetime. In addition to his New Zealand adventures, Season 2 takes Jim marlin fishing in Costa Rica, monster pike fishing in Northern Canada, to the world’s biggest kayak fishing tournament in Florida, Chinook Salmon fishing in the Pacific Northwest, and trophy bass fishing in Mexico.
The show premieres Sunday, Feb 6, at 9:00pm ET on WFN and WFNHD, with additional showings taking place Monday at 5:00am, 1:00pm and 10:30pm, and Tuesday at 6:30am and 2:30pm.
