Sherpa Adventure Gear to open first U.S. flagship store

Doors open November 2017 in Seattle, Washington

MODESTO, CA — November 1, 2017– Sherpa Adventure Gear, is pleased to announce its plans to open its first U.S. flagship store in Seattle, WA in November 2017. The store is located at 2000 1st Ave. near the booming tourist area of Pike’s Place Market.

It will be home to office space as well as prime retail space that will bring a sense of Nepal to Seattle and create a unique brand experience not previously available in the U.S. Many of the furnishings and decor is curated from Nepal. Iconic images and climbing memorabilia from Sherpa athlete and legendary climber, Lakpa Rita Sherpa, is also on display. The store will be managed by Mike Baker who brings many years of retail experience. Events such as educational seminars, travel clinics and athlete demonstrations will be held throughout the year.
