MODESTO, CA —Sherpa Adventure Gear is pleased to announce the launch of its new website and integration with Locally, an innovative online-to-offline shopping platform. The new mobile-friendly design was developed to give its consumer the best brand experience online. That includes an improved visual infrastructure that communicates the brand story across any device it’s being viewed on.
Along with the new website and new collection of products, integration of the Locally platform allows consumers to easily find a local retailer that carries Sherpa Adventure Gear products or a certain product through the new Dealer Locator and Product Locator, respectively.
“After months of hard work and decision making on the look and feel of the new website we are extremely happy with the outcome,” notes Tsedo Sherpa-Ednalino, chief operating officer of Sherpa Adventure Gear. “We believe that this new website represents us as a brand seamlessly and invites consumers to learn more about our story and products. Plus with the integration of Locally we give the choice back to our customers if they would like to buy online or in their local retail store.”
The Locally-powered Product Locator enables a shopper viewing a specific item to see which nearby store has that exact item in stock, including the desired color and size. If a given product isn’t in stock nearby, the locator recommends similar styles that are available at retailers in close proximity to the shopper. The Product Locator is powered by retailer inventory feeds using Locally’s simple POS sync, which updates at least once a day, often hourly, and in some cases, in real-time.
Sherpa Adventure Gear also launched Locally’s Dealer Locator – powered by its innovative OpenStoreFront data harmonization engine – which will help the brand present the most accurate store information to shoppers. Locally’s Dealer Locator also incorporates store inventory to show shoppers what Sherpa products are in stock at each store and lets them complete a purchase, either by putting a product on hold for in-store purchase or paying online for in-store pickup.
“Sherpa’s new site brings the Locally online-to-offline shopping experience to Sherpa shoppers in a rich and novel way” said Mark Strella, Locally’s director of business development. “We congratulate Sherpa on a successful site launch and look forward to working with dealers to provide Sherpa shoppers in the US and Canada with this omni-channel shopping experience.”
To improve the shopping experience, the new website will feature beautiful imagery, more branded content, easy navigation and mobile optimization. It also offers customers additional insight into the brand and the people surrounding the brand through the blog, athlete pages and the ways it supports its home country of Nepal through the Sherpa Adventure Gear Fund and employment opportunity pages.
