WASHINGTON (July 30, 2014) — SnowSports Industries America (SIA), the snow sports industry’s member-owned trade association, announced the opening of the 2015 SIA Snow Showofficial hotel blocks. SIA Snow Show hotel reservations can be made online at: SIAsnowshow.com/hotels.

A variety of Denver properties are offering exceptional Early Bird Rates, which is good news for anyone who’s ready to start making travel plans for the 2015 SIA Snow Show. Early Bird Rates will expire on September 29th or when the discounted rooms are filled, whichever happens first and historically room blocks sell out quickly.
“As soon as the SIA Snow Show wraps, SIA starts working with Denver and local hotels to secure the best rates possible for the next year’s show,” commented SIA’s Trade Show Director, Debbie DesRoches. “There are so many great hotels just blocks from the convention center and all are priced really well,” added DesRoches.
Since the 2014 SIA Snow Show, Denver has been working hard to enhance the city’s accommodations, attractions and transportation, making it an even better place for the industry to gather in 2015.
“I think this year you’ll find that Denver is an even more practical city to negotiate for business, and an even more fun destination when work is done,” said Richard Scharf, president & CEO of VISIT DENVER, The Convention & Visitors Bureau. “When the SIA Snow Show meets here again in 2015, we will have opened our restored Union Station with eight new restaurants, and there will be four new downtown hotels. In the past year, we’ve opened a new brewery every other week, as well as new restaurants, retail and nightlife, and a new free downtown shuttle that operates on 18th and 19th streets.”
For the past five Januarys, the snow sports industry has made itself at home in Denver for the days and weeks of set-up, business and social events surrounding the annual gathering.
“Denver is great because there are excellent rooms within close walking distance to the convention center,” said Raquel Langhaim in-store excellence marketing manager for Amer Sports Americas. “Now, with even more lodging opportunities opening, there will be more choices for our staff, reps and dealers.”
With close-to-the-Show hotel locations and the FREE 16th Street Mall shuttle, a rental car is truly unnecessary for navigating the Mile High City. Many block hotels also offer guest perks such as complimentary Wi-Fi, cookie/milk bar, made-to-order breakfast, happy hour and fitness centers.
