Skies may be blue and the weather balmy, but anyone dedicated to snow sports is already planning for the upcoming fall/winter months. To assist with those plans, SnowSports Industries America (SIA) mailed out 16,000+ copies of the SIA Snow Sports Industry Planner to SIA Members this week as well as retail shops, resorts, media and industry organizations.

Continuing a SIA tradition dating back to 1960, the Industry Planner provides a comprehensive guide to 150+ events including snow sports trade shows, consumer shows, industry events, competitions, 2014 Winter Olympics, SIA Association and Snow Show important dates plus U.S./Canadian major holidays.

“SIA’s Industry planner is a great tool for the industry. I pin it up on my wall and use it year round for scheduling any press events, business trips and daily meetings,” said Chelsea Lawson, PR, ZEAL Optics.

“The Snow Sports Industry Planner is one of those pieces that has remained essential for anyone involved in the snow sports buying/selling cycle. I can’t tell you how many offices, retail shops and conference rooms I’ve seen the Industry Planner hanging in over the years,” said David Ingemie, SIA President.

Reminders appear for Bring A Friend Challenge, Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month, World Snow Day, World Snowboard Day and Winter Trails Day– all SIA-supported programs working to educate consumers on snow sports and increase participation. SIA suggests brands link their websites to these events and assist in growing snow sports. Please note, calendar dates are subject to change, check with the event organizer to confirm.
