SnowSports Industries America (SIA), the snow sports industry’s member-owned trade association, has teamed up with Transworld Business to create the 2015 edition of The Guide. Designed to help the snowboard community navigate the upcoming 2015 SIA Snow Show (Jan. 29 – Feb. 1) at Denver’s Colorado Convention Center and On-Snow Demo (Feb. 2-3) at Copper Mountain, The Guide will be available both in print and digitally this week.
A custom, co-branded pre-show publication built by Transworld Business for the snowboarding community, The Guide provides information on SIA’s inaugural INDUSTRY + INTELLIGENCE daylong event on January 28, major trends, editors’ picks, up-to-date research, insight from SIA’s Downhill Intelligence Consumer Project, feature articles, Colorado/Denver travel tips and much more.
“We’re honored to be collaborating with SIA again to enhance the experience for snowboarders at our industry’s annual gathering, says Rob Campbell, GM/Editor-In-Chief of Transworld Business. The Guide is a great compliment to the SIA Snow Show, with plenty of practical info to help prepare logistically, but also a mix of content that genuinely gets people excited to reconnect with friends and do business.”
This year’s The Guide will feature a new section entitled An Insider’s Guide to the Mile Highproviding great advice on what to see and do in Denver straight from local snowboarders as well as honest feedback from shops across the country in What Retailers Are Saying.
“Working with the staff at Transworld Business is an industry collaboration SIA really values – their take on the Show provides the snowboard retailer with essential tools for having a great time in Colorado and meeting all their business objectives,” commented David Ingemie, SIAPresident.
The Guide will be distributed both in print and digitally this week to over 30,000 snowboard/ski shops, resorts, manufacturers, sales reps, executives, media, and SIA members. The digital edition is available online atSIAsnowshow.com/theguidevia a browser-based reader, and additionally through the Transworld Business app on iTunes.
