Sierra Designs Announces Partnership with Adventure Athlete, Andrew Skurka

Boulder, CO –Sierra Designs has paired up with backpacking expert Andrew Skurka, a National Geographic “Adventurer of the Year” and author of The Ultimate Hiker’s Gear Guide who has backpacked over 30,000 miles. The partnership goes beyond that of a standard athlete agreement — Skurka will be an intricate part of the product development process and will help create substantial marketing content.
“We’ve been a long-time fan of Andrew and this partnership is a perfect fit,” notes Michael Glavin, VP and Brand Manager for Sierra Designs. “With his experience and vast backpacking knowledge, he’ll be deeply integrated in our design and testing process.”
