BOULDER, COLO. (For Immediate Release) – Sierra Designs is proud to announce the women’s Lunatic softshell pants have been recognized with a 2011 Editors’ Choice Award from Backcountry Magazine, the premier source for everything backcountry ski- and ride-related.
With performance attributes and serious value any skier can appreciate, the Lunatic Pants kept women testers warm, comfortable, and mobile in the backcountry. These pants also won points for a baggier, more stylish design than most of the competition.

Constructed with Fusonic Technology, the Lunatic Pants forgo stitching in favor of heat and adhesive-bonded panels to create a stronger, more water resistant garment. The Lunatic Pants feature wrap around scuff guards to protect against ski edges and crampons while an internal leg gaiter keeps snow and trail debris out of your boots.
