Skida Hats & Accessories Continues Growth, Hires PR Firm

BURLINGTON, VT (July 28, 2014) – Skida Headwear & Accessories recently hired Killoran Communications LLC as its public relations agency of record in the U.S. The partnership focuses on expanding brand awareness of Skida’s Made in Vermont headwear and accessory collection made from limited edition prints.
Skida offers men’s, women’s and kid’s headwear and accessories made from poly micro blend fabrics in colorful, playful prints. Two distinct lines are offered, the unlined Nordic collection, and the Polartec® fleece lined and unlined Alpine collection.
“This is a very exciting time for Skida as the brand continues to grow in sales and interest,” commented Corinne Prevot, found and owner of Skida Headwear & Accessories. “We are excited to work with Killoran Communications who will help increase our visibility with potential dealers and consumers.”
Killoran Communications will work with Skida on increasing brand awareness and visibility through multiple public relations channels, including outreach to trade and consumer media outlets.
As a ski racer, Prevot first started making and selling Skida hats and accessories in 2008 to fellow Alpine and Nordic teammates and racers while attending Burke Mountain Academy and Middlebury College, both located in Vermont. With continued growth and demand for the colorful, playful hats and accessories, Prevot moved production to Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom. In 2013, Prevot opened Skida company headquarters in Burlington, Vermont.
