Skinny Skis is pleased to announce today that they’ve helped raise $10,700 from its annual Run N Ride for the Cure, held on Saturday, June 6th.
The Run N Ride is a fundraiser for the Cancer Patients’ Support Fund administered by the St. John’s Medical Center Foundation, in Jackson, Wyoming.
All of the proceeds are used to provide assistance for patients facing financial hardship as a result of their battle against cancer. The fund has been used for therapy, travel assistance and a host of other costly areas.
Vendors who helped contribute to this year’s event included: Salomon, Mountain Hardwear, Marmot, Patagonia, Prana and Smartwool.
Despite the inclement weather, this year’s race—a 5 km run and 15 km cycle—attracted over 180 participants.
This was the 10th annual Run N Ride—Over the years in excess of $70,000 has been raised.
