SMACK! Media Welcomes Karen Jayne Greenwood as Director of Publicity

January 16, 2013 (San Diego, CA) – SMACK! Media, a boutique relationship Marketing and PR Agency focused on innovative brands in health, sports and fitness, welcomes Karen Jayne “KJ” Greenwood as Director of Publicity. An established Public Relations Executive, KJ most recently served as the head of Public Relations for Life Time Fitness, and helped shift the ‘Healthy Way of Life Company’ from an organization focused on one-off health initiatives to a highly-strategic, proactive external communications powerhouse.

KJ brings more than a decade of Public Relations experience to SMACK! Media. She has worked for leading American brands and succeeded with reputable public relations agencies, including The Dow Chemical Company, Fleishman Hillard and U.S. Bancorp. In 2012, KJ was recognized in 2012 as one of the Twin Cities’ 25 Women to Watch by The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal based on her professional achievements, leadership qualities and drive.

As a running enthusiast who has trained for five marathons including the 2012 Boston Marathon, KJ fits in perfectly with the team of runners, cyclists, golfers and triathletes.
