Snow Shed Will Supply the US Ski Mountaineering Team with its Anti-Stick Topsheet Spray and Skin Wax

CARBONDALE, Colo. – December 1, 2017
Snow Shed Wax Co., a manufacturer of an anti-stick topsheet spray and skin wax, is partnering with the United States Ski Mountaineering Association (USSMA), which sanctions and governs competitive ski mountaineering racing in the United States. Snow Shed will become an official product sponsor of the USSMA, supplying the national team with its anti-stick spray and providing demos at races throughout the 2017-18 season.
“We are super excited to be partnering with the USSMA as they have done a ton to grow ski mountaineering in the US,” says Snow Shed founder Peter Arlein. “In a sport where every gram counts, we’re pumped to support the national team and give them a leg up on their international competition.”
The USSMA, whose mission is to promote and grow the sport of ski mountaineering racing in the United States, sanctions a series of skimo races throughout the winter and organizes the US National Ski Mountaineering Team. “The USSMA is happy to partner with Snow Shed”, says USSMA President Ram Mikulas. “Let’s keep the snow on the ground and reach the top first!”
