On the heels of the SIA Snow Show in Denver, Colorado (Jan 28-31), Show attendees will head up to the mountains of Winter Park Resort and Devil’s Thumb Ranch for the first international On-Snow Demo/Free Ride Fest on February 1-2, 2010. Over 150 brands will be involved in this industry only, two-day event filled with parties, races, demos and catching up with industry friends.

“People seem to be excited to ski/ride with their industry friends, we’ve been amazed to see a trend of over 30% of those pre-registering for the Snow Show are also signing-up for the On-Snow Demo/Free Ride Fest,” commented David Ingemie, SIA’s President. “It’s going to be a great opportunity to test next year’s products, a terrific party and a perfect way to wrap up the Snow Show.”

The demo event will be held in conjunction with the WWSRA (Western Winter Sports Representatives Association) Rocky Mountain Demo, which has an extensive history of hosting on-snow demos for reps and retailers in the active sports industry. SIA is also working with CCSAA (Cross Country Ski Areas Association) for the Nordic portion of the demo.

Registration for the On-Snow Demo/Free Ride Fest includes free shuttle service (to/from Colorado Convention Center), free equipment rental, free breakfast and lunch plus free tickets to Winter Park and Devil’s Thumb. And, if you want to stay close-by, there is lodging available at both Winter Park and Devil’s Thumb at great prices. Here’s a quick recap of major events (see below) and for more detailed information on the On-Snow Demo/Free Ride Fest simply click here.
