RMU Outdoors Opens Third Concept Location in Truckee, CA

Truckee, CA. (July 15, 2021) – RMU Outdoors, known for their innovative products in the ski and outdoor industry is set to open their third concept location in the bustling ski town of Truckee, CA coming Fall 2021. RMU offers destinations and products that connect the local community, travelers, and industry professionals in a welcoming environment, to the mountain lifestyle.
“As a positive impact company we are thrilled to be joining the Truckee community where we can help employ the local workforce, offer employee housing, and work with non-profit organizations to increase awareness and support the causes we and the town believe in,” said RMU CEO Mike Waesche. “Truckee has one of the most impressive ski and MTB communities in the world and we’re honored to join and contribute to the progression of the outdoor industry in Truckee.”
RMU Truckee is set to open in early fall of 2021 offering a full retail and tune shop that is complemented with a bar, restaurant, and outdoor patio with live music. This combination of shop and restaurant will be one of the most unique establishments in the town. Furthermore the new RMU is located in the beautiful historic Victorian Krueger/ White house that is one of the oldest establishments in Truckee, being built in 1874.
“Keeping the integrity and preservation of the building is a huge priority as we undergo renovations in updating the property to fit the RMU culture,” said RMU Truckee General Manager Robby Burleson. “It’s an experience people from all over the world will enjoy.
