SOLE promises to please with its expanded 2013 footwear line

(Calgary, Alberta) – SOLE, makers of custom footbeds, performance socks and orthopedic footwear, is thrilled to announce its Spring 2013 footwear collection. Combining fashion, function and comfort like never before, this expanded line promises to please.

In addition to a refreshed color ensemble of SOLE’s beloved flips and slides, eleven additional styles will be introduced, ten featuring SOLE’s new, mouldable, thin cork platforms.

Rob Nathan, SOLE’s Product Director, explains, “What sets SOLE footwear apart is the shape and the mouldability of our platforms. Our new, thin cork platform is no exception. However, with a sleeker design than previous models, this spring line is less sporty and more lifestyle-oriented, appealing to those seeking something comfortable for everyday wear.”

VP Sales at SOLE, Jonathan Koops, adds to this, saying, “We are rethinking footwear from the inside out, creating an incredible line that starts with the platform, and is finished with impressive style.”

For women, the Grace, a cork-inspired ballet flat and the Stride, a mid-calf, nubuck boot exude stylish comfort. The Stroll, a thin strapped flip and the Embrace, Entwine, Evoke, and Allure sandals, elegantly frame SOLE’s new, thin cork platform.

For men, the Ease, a slip-on canvas and cork shoe, defines casual comfort. The elastic laced Tour and Grade, available in canvas, cork, and leather variations, set a new standard for fashionable, casual footwear.

Though sportier, the men’s and women’s highly anticipated Navigate is the quintessential trail sandal. Made with SOLE’s original EVA platform and featuring simple yet effective closures, the Navigate provides a snug fit with a quick release that’s easy to adjust.

Responding to demand, SOLE’s Spring 2013 collection provides the support customers expect in new, stylish designs, ideal for any situation.

“We’re excited to produce a footwear line that appeals to the interests of our broad customer base – from those who want our Sport Flips to help them recover after a workout, to those who want the comfort of SOLE’s platform in a variety of everyday shoes” says SOLE CEO, Mike Baker.

SOLE’s entire Spring line will be available for preview at The Footwear Event, Outdoor Retailer, Atlanta Shoe Show, FN Platform, and the Toronto Shoe Show.
