Active with Met Pad Footbed Available Now

VANCOUVER, Canada – June 1, 2017

Customers are rejoicing as Canadian company SOLE™ has just introduced its highly-anticipated footbed featuring metatarsal support, a technical bump added to the forefoot of their already award-winning signature shape that supports and separates toe bones for pain relief and comfort. The Active with Met Pad footbed collection is the first family of footbeds that SOLE has released with metatarsal support. As they also feature 100% eco-friendly recycled cork bases, they are the first of their kind in the world.

SOLE’s signature shape, found in all their products, has been proven time and again to eradicate foot pain, fatigue and prevent injury while improving balance, posture and stability. The supportive high arch, metatarsal pad, and deep heel cup promote the foot’s natural alignment and drastically reduce discomfort caused by plantar fasciitis and other common orthopedic conditions. The additional metatarsal support slightly elevates and separates toes bones to relieve pressure and pain in the forefoot caused by tight or ill-fitting footwear and conditions like Morton’s Neuroma. Suitable for most footwear and any type of activity, SOLE’s Active with Met Pad footbeds relax forefoot tendons and promote the natural alignment of the foot.

The use of recycled cork in footbeds is a completely original and environmentally friendly invention. The cork used in the Active with Met Pad collection, and all of SOLE’s cork footbeds, is recycled by ReCORK™, North America’s largest wine cork recycling initiative, which was adopted by SOLE in 2008. Repurposing natural wine corks into footwear removes it from the waste stream while creating a natural material that replaces environmentally harmful ones otherwise used in footwear production. Recycled cork is ideal for use in footbeds as it not only completely environmentally sustainable, but is also moisture-wicking, odor-reducing and has an elasticity that absorbs shock and allows it to mold to the wearer’s feet.

The Active with Met Pad footbed collection is now available in three different thicknesses at yoursole.com.
