SPIN Pilates Introduces VPS Reformer

SPIN Pilatesâ„¢, a division of Mad Dogg Athletics, Inc., announced today that its SPIN Pilates VPS reformer will be available in early 2008. The reformer will be unveiled at the Club Industry show in Chicago at the McCormick Center on October 11-13, 2007.
Built to withstand the demands of the facility environment, the VPS features an innovative pop-pin pulley system and a large inner tower to enhance the user’s experience. Non-slip coating on footbar, push-through bar and roll-down bar offer enhanced security for beginners by providing stable surfaces for hands and feet and a unique rope adjustment system ensures more balanced adjustments.
Additional standard features include modifiable leveler legs for enhanced stability on uneven surfaces, adjustable shoulder rests that provide the perfect fit for individuals of various heights and widths and a unique variable pulley system for quick resistance changes and varying lines of pull.
“Our goal was to develop a piece of equipment that is conducive to the group exercise environment,” states Marci Clark, Education Director for SPIN Pilates. “By incorporating features like a movable spring gear bar, the VPS makes tension adjustments quick and easy. And with this reformer’s unique small inner tower and variable pulley system, participants get unmatched variety.”
Optional features include a foldable full tower, a crack-resistant jumpboard for unparalleled stability and longer leveler legs that elevate carriage up to 18 inches off the ground for easier student access.
