Sportif USA Uses Unique Materials to Provide Men With Ultimate Comfort

Reno, Nev. – Sportif USA, a sportswear clothing company based in Sparks, Nev., is utilizing a one-of-a-kind fabric in its men’s spring 2007 line that reaches new heights in comfort and client convenience.

Hailed as one of the softest fibers in the world for more than 40 years, Lenzing Modal clothing is lightweight and breathable and does not require any special care making it perfect for travel. Hardening of traditional fabrics typically occurs as a result of mineral deposits from wash water and traces of detergent. Lenzing Modal does not collect these deposits and remains soft and pleasing to the skin’s touch over time and after multiple washes.

“Lenzing Modal has a great natural story and is great for travelers,” said Tom Williamson, vice president of marketing of Sportif USA. “The items made with this specific fabric are high performance clothing that requires very little special care while remaining exceptionally soft to the touch. Made from beech wood, a natural raw material, Lenzing Modal is well suited to blend with cotton since both fibers have similar properties. The dyeing performance of Lenzing Modal emulates that of cotton allowing for clothing made with this fiber to be designed in a variety ofcolors.
