Sports Authority Adds Life Fitness to Offering

SCHILLER PARK, Ill., May 11, 2010 – Sports Authority has partnered with Life Fitness to offer health club quality exercise equipment to its customers. Beginning in 12 of its stores located in Northern California, Alaska and Hawaii, a selection of Life Fitness strength and cardio equipment will be represented by a unique “store within a store” shopping experience branded, by Life Fitness. The concept seeks to attract exercise enthusiasts by providing detailed information about the benefits of working out.

Sports Authority stores carrying Life Fitness products will offer a select line-up of Life Fitness strength and cardio equipment including the versatile G4 Home Gym and the Platinum Club Series treadmill, which is the company’s home version of the health club model.
