SPRI Products, Inc., a leading distributor of rubberized resistance products and fitness accessories, has revamped the look and feel of its product packaging to further enhance consumers’ interest and to add energy and attract attention at retail stores.

After eight years of the former, predominantly white, straightforward design, SPRI sought a fresh, more contemporary image.

“We wanted something that reflected the high quality and performance of the product and the success of the brand over the years,” explained Herb Flentye, president and CEO at SPRI. “The new packaging provides a flash of color on retailer’s shelves and gives them a consistent, cohesive display.”

Upon evaluating many new potential designs and soliciting broad feedback, the SPRI team selected packaging that features a gray background with bright orange accents; SPRI’s red logo; clean, clear black lettering; and updated images. Taken together, the colors, text and photos deliver a bold, energetic presence and a uniform appearance that commands notice.

Debuting at SPRI’s exhibit booth at the recent Health & Fitness Business Expo in Las Vegas, customers and dealers praised the new look, calling it more colorful, modern and classy.

“The new packaging really represents what SPRI products are all about – premium, upscale fitness accessories for commercial and consumer use,” said Mike Moravec, director of purchasing for 2nd Wind Exercise Equipment. “We definitely are looking forward to outfitting our stores with this new packaging.”

SPRI’s comprehensive line of rubberized resistance tubing and multitude of fitness accessories and training tools is being transitioned to the new packaging over the next few months. The company has been named the best-selling fitness accessory for seven consecutive years by specialty fitness retailers in the annual SNEWS survey.
