Spyder Presents USA Premiere of Latest “Shades of Winter” Ski Film

“Between”, co-produced by Red Bull Media House and Austrian pro skier / filmmaker Sandra Lahnsteiner, hits Boulder Theater November 3rd

(FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE) –L​egendary Boulder-based ski and performance apparel brand​ ​Spyder​ is thrilled to announce the USA premiere of “Shades of Winter: Between” – directed by pro freeskier and filmmaker Sandra Lahnsteiner – at the historic Boulder Theater on Thursday, November 3rd. Doors open at 6:30pm, with a showtime of 7:30pm.

“Between” is the third full feature production by Lahnsteiner and comes at the heels of her internationally acclaimed, award-winning freeski films “Shades of Winter” (2013) and “Pure” (2014). The film follows the best-of-the-best in female freeskiing and surfing as they shred and surf breathtaking destinations around the world. Spyder athlete Julia Mancuso, an American World Cup alpine ski racer andOlympic gold medalist, has a prominent presence in the film and plans to attend the Boulder event on November 3rd.

“With the first two films, we proved that girls really rip,” says Lahnsteiner. “With ‘Between’, viewers get to really see the athletes, find out who they are, and how they feel about their lives, and their sports. The film showcases all the moments between the big action, including the beautiful, the ordinary, and the low moments of life.”
