SEATTLE, WA (July 11, 2013) – STANLEY, a brand of PMI, announces today the release of their new line of Adventure Coolers available in two sizes: 7 QT/6.6 L and 16 QT/ 15.1 L. Backed by a lifetime guarantee, these new coolers keep cold for 27 hours (7 QT) and 36 hours (16 QT) respectively. This is 36% and 38% longer than any other option in the personal cooler category.
Built tough, the Stanley Adventure Coolers lock in cold longer because of several unique features including:
A foam-insulated body and lid that contains more than 2.5 times the foam of a typical competitor by weight
Leak-resistant gasket that locks in cold
Sturdy latches and hinges that ensure a tight seal and stands up to ongoing wear and tear
“Looking at the category and the success of our existing Classic Cooler, we saw an opportunity to bring our expertise in thermal insulation and devotion to creating durable products into the personal cooler space,” explains Mike Bross, Executive Vice President at PMI. “Until now, we felt consumers lacked options when shopping for coolers. They were forced to choose between high priced specialty coolers and lower end commodity coolers. Our new Adventure Coolers now bring them quality performance at competitive prices. Consumers now have a choice.”
Having fueled outdoor adventures for the last century, Stanley’s expertise in the food and beverage category enables the brand to deliver add-on features that consumers want but until today couldn’t find. Unique features such as adjustable tie-downs allowing users the flexibility to nestle another bottle, food jar or even a jacket on top of the cooler to pack a day’s worth of gear. The cooler’s flat top also provides that paramount seat when one is unavailable. Both features allow Stanley consumers to pack more with less. A critical need for any day outside whether it’s for work or play.
Available in two sizes – 16 QT/15.1L (MSRP $65) and 7 QT/6.6 L (MSRP $40) – and two colors (navy or green), the STANLEY Adventure Coolers will be available spring 2014 at retailers nationwide and online at www.stanley-pmi.com.
