Irvine, CA, July 25, 2007 – Star Trac, an international leader in the commercial fitness industry, is honored to support the AIDS Research Alliance (ARA) and Crunch Fitness by donating Spinner® Pro bikes to the Revolutions 3–Cycling for Research fundraising events on August 18th in Los Angeles and San Francisco. All funds raised will support HIV/AIDS research.

Star Trac has donated 50 Spinner® Pro bikes for the event, and one Spinner® Pro for each location to award as a giveaway. Crunch’s top Spinning® instructors will lead Revolutions participants in two one-hour outdoor cycling classes, held on the Spinner® Pro bikes at Crunch Fitness facilities in Los Angeles and San Francisco from 9 a.m. to noon. The event will also feature surprise celebrity speakers, live DJs and sweeping views of the Sunset Strip and the Embarcadero inspiring the riders to go the distance.

“Star Trac is pleased to support the ARA, Crunch Fitness and the Revolutions event by donating our Spinner® Pro bikes for the ride,” said Randy Bergstedt, Vice President of Marketing for Star Trac. “We hope our participation in the Revolutions event will positively impact the ARA and allow them to further their research efforts. We wish the riders the best and hope they have a safe, comfortable and enjoyable ride!”

In addition to the fundraising Spin-a-Thon, everyone is invited to stop by to cheer on the Revolutions riders, shop at vendor booths, enjoy free food and drinks, and enter prize drawings for massages, trips, CDs, and products throughout the day. Event partners include: Crunch Fitness, Virgin Megastore, Round 2 Integrated Media, ACME Apparel, City of West Hollywood, wehonews.com, Gorilla Nation, Pink is the New Blog, and The Textille at Santee Village.
