SMAK to lead strategic communications and media relations efforts to support Stoked Roasters + Coffeehouse products, media, and events

Stoked Roasters + Coffeehouse, the leading organic coffee company serving the outdoor market, has recently signed SMAK Strategies as their public relations and marketing agency of record for media relations and strategic communications.
Founded in Hood River, OR, Jax Mariash started Stoked in June 2014, with the goal of providing premium, organic coffee to outdoor enthusiasts and kick starting their adventures with one epic sip of coffee. Stoked will rely on SMAK to bring the company’s brand stories and values to the public, an endeavor that both SMAK and STOKED are excited about.

Stoked Roasters came to fruition in the river town of Hood River, OR — known as the capital of kiteboarding and windsurfing — and this summer the company will be opening a second coffeehouse in Park City, UT. Stoked offers six signature blends all roasted in a custom-built 25lb San Franciscan roaster. Additionally, Stoked offers Stoked STIX, premium instant coffee for those needing a delicious cup of coffee on the go.
Jax Mariash, founder and owner of Stoked Roasters, lives and breathes outdoor adventure. As a professional ultra runner, Jax was the first woman to complete the 4 Desert Race Series Grand Slam Plus and in 2016 was crowned the 4 Deserts Female World Champion. In tandem to being a professional athlete, Jax has spent years developing and perfecting Stoked Roasters into what it is today.
