Frederick, MD, October 20, 2008 — Studio 22, a Maryland-based graphic design firm, has created a new group of materials to help the Outdoor Industries Womens Coalition (OIWC) promote awareness of its Education Foundation. A custom logo, rack card and trade show banners were included in the first phase of pro-bono work, which are now being used at industry shows.
“We are proud to be involved with OIWC, so anything we can do to help support the organization is an honor,†said the firm’s owner, Eryn Willard. “In establishing the image for the Foundation’s launch, it was important to create a distinctive look, while also blending it with the parent brand already established by OIWC.â€
Working with OIWC Executive Director Sally Grimes and Education Foundation President Kathy Murphy, Studio 22 crafted a logo using a classic symbol of direction and guidance–the compass rose. The printed materials convey a fresh, yet professional, look to represent the Foundation’s program, and were well received at this summer’s Outdoor Retailer.
The next phase of work includes designing member communications pieces to be used for both email and printed mail to promote attendance at OIWC’s regional conferences.
