2012 is the LOWA Trekker’s 30th birthday and it deserved a celebration. On Friday and Saturday during the Outdoor Retailer Winter Show, attendees were invited to drop by the LOWA booth and help toast the Trekker with a $1 cupcake. All proceeds were donated to Big City Mountaineers, mentors of under-resourced urban teens. The result? $382 representing an abundance of sugar and many good wishes to this very deserving organization.
Peter Sachs, general manager of LOWA, was honored to present the proceeds to Jeff Weidman, board member, and Lisa Mattis, executive director, at the close of the show.
