SUGOI Enters Into Licensing Agreement with Timex Licensing Corporation

SUGOI and Timex have entered into a license agreement for the design, manufacture and distribution of sports apparel under the Timex brand name.

SUGOI Performance Apparel, a division of Dorel Industries Inc. (TSX: DII.B, DII.A), and Timex Group, a leader in outdoor and sports performance timepieces, today announced they have entered into a license agreement for the design, manufacture and distribution of sports apparel under the Timex brand name. Sugoi will launch a line of Timex performance apparel designed for everyday athletes nationwide.

“We have chosen to partner with SUGOI because of their well-established relationships with key retailers, their strategic marketing approach and their proven track-record in designing and manufacturing the highest quality sports apparel,” said Adam Gurian, President of Timex Group USA, Inc.

The Timex Apparel collection, which bears vibrant colors and artistically incorporates iconic Timex design themes, will be available at www.SUGOI.com/TIMEX. Apparel styles, which range from $40 – $130, include:

• Cycling jersey for men and women
• Cycling bib short with advanced chamois technology for men
• Cycling short with advanced chamois technology for women
• Tri tank and short for men and women
• Technical running tee for men and women
• Running tank for women
• Compression socks

The partnership also names SUGOI as the official apparel provider of the Timex Multisport Team, a dynamic group of amateur and professional athletes from the U.S, Australia, Ukraine, Portugal, Mexico, Czech Republic, Canada and the United Kingdom who serve as brand ambassadors for Timex and associated sponsors at hundreds of events around the world.
The 2009 Timex Multisport Team will compete in a variety of multisport events including Ironman and Xterra races, as well as running events including the Flora London Marathon and the ING New York City Marathon.

SUGOI joins a stable of other top sponsors for Timex Mulitsport Team, including Trek Bicycles and PowerBar.
