Sympatex announces new Vice President for North America

Munich / Newburyport, 24th July 2015 – From now on, Derek Spingler will take over the position as Vice President for North America at Sympatex Technologies. The ecological alternative among functional textile specialists has hired Derek Spingler as an entrepreneur and businessman who has worked in the outdoor industry for over twenty years. In this role, Derek will be responsible for overall Sales and Marketing management with a special focus on creating and expanding existing and new business relations in Apparel, Footwear and Contract & Workwear.
Derek Spingler, who is 42 years old, founded and built a successful outdoor company, which he ran for the last 18 years acting as the director of sales and marketing. Throughout his career Derek has worked closely with the development and design of products for the outdoor, fishing and fly fishing industries. “Having worked in and developed products for the outdoors and the particularly harsh marine environment, Sympatex offers a unique and dynamic product line for a huge range of applications with very compelling physical properties associated with their membranes and laminates.”
