Nevada City, CA – The Wild & Scenic® Film Festival just launched its new and improved web site. Simpler, cleaner, and more contemporary, the site is a great way to get to know the festival and find out how to be a part of it.
Buy tickets, submit films, find national tour locations – all of it right at wildandscenicfilmfestival.org.
“It’s a clean, organized site, but still delivers a dynamic that reflects the excitement of Wild & Scenic,” says festival producer Leslie Jacobson. “The best way to experience the festival is to come – be it to Nevada City this January or to any of the over 100 stops on the National Tour. But the site goes a long way towards giving people a sense of why this has become the largest festival of its kind in the country.”
With this year’s festival approaching, the new site will be regularly updated with news regarding film selections, schedules, ticket options, and new tour locations.
The Wild & Scenic® Film Festival will run January 14th – 16th in Nevada City, California. Shortly after it launches its national tour. The event is organized and hosted by the South Yuba River Citizens League. For 27 years this grassroots environmental organization has been bringing the community together around the protection of the Yuba River Watershed.
In its eight years, the festival has hosted well over 20,000 attendees including more than 400 top filmmakers, celebrities, activists, explorers, and outdoor athletes. It has screened over 500 inspirational films, including more premiers than any environmental film festival in the country.
