Terramar Launches ClimaSense® Carbon for 2017

Tarrytown, N.Y. (December 20) – Terramar has taken a great technology and made it even better. The integration of Carbon into the original ClimaSense formulation has significantly boosted the overall performance of its products. Now you can stay dryer and more comfortable in all your outdoor adventures.
A number of factors influence the skins surface temperature. Key among them is weather and activity level. ClimaSense Carbon is engineered to recognize an individuals need to warm up or cool down. When you are cold the fiber structure reacts by being more resistant to heat loss, thereby retaining warmth. When you are hot the fiber structure conducts heat away from the body, thus cooling you down. ClimaSense Carbon also has a greater ability to wick and move moisture away from the skin for faster drying and to better absorb odors for improved odor control.
The new improved thermoregulating technology has been incorporated into the total 2017 Fall/Winter line which includes two exciting new products:
The Beast (Men’s)
Sometimes you need a little more “oomph” in your base layer. The Beast from Terramar delivers exactly that. At 280 grams sq/meter the fabric features a beefy fleece inside and a smooth easy layering outside to keep you toasty in the most extreme conditions. Perfect for a cold day when you are stop ‘n go on an exposed wall or chopping wood to get the fire stoked. The body hugging design and strategically placed articulated panels ensure a great fit with plenty of freedom to move. The rolled forward shoulder seam and flat stitching eliminate chafing. The Beast lives up to its name by keeping you warm and comfortable in the coldest temperatures.

Vertix (Women’s)
Vertix is a new versatile base layer product for the Terramar 2017 line. It delivers 3.0 warmth with great stretch and breathability. The high loft vertical channels efficiently trap air and allow it to circulate for optimal performance and comfort. With just the right amount spandex Vertix provides great range of motion for all your outdoor adventures. Skating on a pond, cruising in your snowshoes or skinning up a mountain you will always be warm, dry and comfortable.
