Team BULLS Clinch Overall Victory at Absa Cape Epic 2016

Team Bulls Bikes rider Karl Platt of Germany and teammate Urs Huber of Switzerland won the overall victory at the Absa Cape Epic earlier today at the Meerendal Wine Estate Finish in South Africa. This is Platt’s fifth victory at the Cape Epic since his first win twelve years ago at the inaugural Cape Epic in 2004. This 2016 victory ties Platt, the veteran Team Bulls rider, with legendary Christoph Sauser of Switzerland, for the most Cape Epic victories in history.

Team Bulls rider and three-time Cape Epic victor, Stefan Sahm, rode a Bulls E-Stream EVO FS 3 29 ebike with a 3sixty 360 degree camera and six GoPros mounted to his helmet so spectators can view the pros like never before during the race, as well as capture some of the spirit and beauty of this world-renowned race.
